Gewiss ist, die National-Elf kann sich \u00fcber Laien-Ratschl\u00e4ge bei Meisterschaften freuen, &#8222;The Line&#8220; hingegen ist seit rund einem Jahr das durchg\u00e4ngige Thema zahlreicher berufener Influencer und mehr oder weniger gut recherchierter Zeitungsmeldungen. Anfang des Jahres \u00fcberraschte die NEOM-Entwicklungsgesellschaft mit einem Kurswechsel: Die Kampagne &#8222;NEOM is real&#8220; zeigte erstmals Videos von den Baustellen und bewies, da\u00df der Megacity-Masterplan mehr ist als Bits und Bytes. Statements gab es aber trotzdem nicht, von niemand und von keiner Seite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brandneu kommt Discovery mit einer 45-min\u00fctigen Dokumentation daher, in der erstmals die Architekten selbst zu Wort kommen, um deren Namen sich bisher eher Ger\u00fcchte rankten (siehe dazu unsere oben verlinkte Story). Mit dem Titel &#8222;The Line: Saudi Arabia&#8217;s City of the Future in NEOM&#8220; geben Thom Mayne, Peter Cook und Roger Soto Einblicke in die Konzeption einer ganz neuen, ehrgeizigen Megastadt. Vielleicht ist die strenge Geheimhaltung vorbei \u2013 auch wenn die Presseabteilung von NEOM noch immer mit den unt\u00e4tigsten Mitarbeitern besetzt ist, die man sich vorstellen kann. Der Premierminister jedenfalls betont das Engagement aller, die hinter dem Projekt stehen.
